“I think you sound defensive.” But that’s okay, it’s tough defending a church like City Business. You know you’re wrong, but you can’t admit it. I will pray that God touches your heart, and allows you to see through the enemies deceptive lies.

I don’t mind arguing the issues, but lets not attack people by name. (And yes, I realize that I’m being hypocritical, seeing as how the slogan of our blog calls someone out, but its our blog… so…)

I know this is your blog and all, and I don’t want to get booted from your site in my attempt to speak the truth, in love I hope, but it seems to me like your statement here is at best inconsistent/forgetful, and at worst untruthful.
It is evident to me that you guys DO endorse/approve personal attacks, at least in effect, by allowing many of these personal attacks to take place. I believe there is a way to point out sin, error, and so forth, objectively and non-emotionally, and without resorting to anger, bitterness, etc., which many around here are permitted to do on a consistent basis (let me know if you would like me to provide proof of this).
Just so long, that is, as the attacks are directed AT the right people — those whom you DISAGREE with.
And are being launched BY the right people — those whom you AGREE with.
I even recall a few personal attacks directed at “Yours Truly†under the post Ousted Pastor Returns to Grays Harbor, which, though you read, you guys still allowed to be launched, and then let slide, without a word. In fact, if memory serves, I do believe the tenor of those were even, if I may use the word, “lauded” by RP
Maybe it’s simply like what Dirty Harry said in Magnum Force: he didn’t mind the killing, as long as the “right people” were getting killed.
