Somewhere out there an El Camino is missing its peeing Calvin bumper sticker. Cata-loser, don’t you have a job? You’ve got WAY too much time on your hands. Get a life.

I would love to take credit for these renditions, but alas, they are not mine. They belong to a certain reformed member of the this blog.

Just a thought here.
I read this site because I find it funny and I think that there is truth to what catalyst is saying.
However, if I found it to be offensive I would stop reading, thus avoiding offense.
I would imagine that most of the anonymous commenters here are good Christen children who wouldn’t watch an R-rated movie (except Braveheart of course). So ask yourself this question, if this site were an R-rated movie, would you walk out?
I certainly hope you would, because right now Catalyst and his friends are the only ones making me laugh.
Please, do us all a favor, stand up right now and walk out of this site.

Excellent. I, too, hope the crass pix drive the “good Christian children” from this blog.

I happened to stumble upon this blog randomly by word of mouth and have spent the last few hours browsing previous postings (instead of doing homework) and have found myself thoroughly entertained and inspired. I was forced to attend CBC for most of my early life, and was involved in the church’s homeschool program, and their private school system in addition to church services. I have been to their summer camps and have participated in faith harvest, I got the full meal deal as far as CBC indoctrination goes. After leaving city christian and entering the public school system after middle school I gradually stopped attending CBC events and eventually left the church completely and have not been back or participated as a member for about 6 or 7 years. I am disappointed that things have gotten progressively worse, as my reasons for initially leaving were in league with concerns raised by this forum. I wish I could have encountered this website during its infancy as I would have assuredly been an active participant. I disagree very much so with the teachings of most churches, especially that of CBC. I have also suffered from bitterness and experienced much disappointment during my 18 year attendance at City Bible. It is very comforting to see others acknowledging some of the scenarios I was forced to endure during my experience with CBC. I think that its very important for people to speak out and voice their opinions whether legitimate or not, and look forward to interacting with this forum in a positive way. I will say that I have grown closer to God, and feel that I have a better interpretation of Jesus and his ministry now that I am able to conduct my devotion independently and outside of the confines of CBC’s inner circle. This type of discussion is healthy, and should be encouraged. I think the modern church has lost sight of the message Jesus established during his ministry, and its time for conscientious followers to revive his ministry and truly pattern our lives after the core principles of Christ.

Micah,
I’m having a real hard time with this one. All the people on this site are supposed to be bitter and angry. You don’t sound bitter at all. Wait, that can’t be right, hold on… ok I just spoke with CBC’s leaders and they have confirmed that you are bitter.
I’m very sorry to hear that, but we are going to have to completly disregard your comment.
