I just finished reading Don Miller’s book Blue Like Jazz which is excellent. Towards the end of the book he has 2 chapters on love; loving others and loving yourself. In them he talks about how if people feel that you don’t respect/like them then they will never listen to anything you say.
He also talks about how he slowly began to realize that God loves the religious, self loving, hypocritical Christian as much as much as he loves everyone else.
So, he had to let go of a lot of issues that he had with his previous church. I started feeling like maybe I should follow Don’s lead and start to let things go…

And then I get sent this email.
