   thanks for this link. it was powerful and reminded me that people died because of the failures of others.

   let me say that i do not know about things as judgement and whether or not God is the culprit behind this hurricane disaster.

   but i wonder about the words a friend of mine said in that perhaps there is judgement here : in how we respond to suffering and tragedy among our poor and weak.

   perhaps it is our own government in need of judgement.

   Catalyst I don’t know you, but I am grateful that you are taking a hiatus from your CBC critique to provide greater awareness of this tragedy to your readers.

   These events have really triggerred some soul searching in my own life. I hope our own government will engage in some soul searching as well and stop the blame game.

   Thanks for your kind words Pam. Frankly, I’m done criticizing City Bible, I’ve said my piece, now I’m moving on.

   The response by the Federal Government in this crisis has been criminal. The government sounded the alarm, and the rich were able to leave the city. However, they left behind the poor, the sick, and the most vulnerable to die. It truly sickens me.
