Happy Belated Easter

Posted on April 17th, 2006 by catalyst into the Uncategorized category

There have been two recent comments asking this blog to stop being negative and start advocating for something positive.

In response, I am challenging all of you to share Christ's love with everyone you meet.

Thank you.

Locutus, Ew. No need to go off the deep end here.

Actually, I think this blog does advocate something positive (accepting that we are all “smelly” sinners in need of grace every day of our lives). Nobody here has the power to make anybody in leadership at CBC change their way of thinking. Hopefully what they read about themselves here will make them think but only the Holy Spirit can bring about change.
I think a bigger challenge would be to ask readers to pray for the leadership at CBC (it’s much harder to pray for somebody who has offended or hurt you than it is to share Christ’s love with a stranger who has probably never bothered you!). And frankly, nothing would scare them more than knowing a bunch of people are praying for them to humble themselves and give up all their selfish desires to actually lead God’s people in a way that honors Him. Just an idea.

    “humble” hah hah hah… lol

One doesn’t rise to the top of the food chain by being humble… at least not in American Religion. It goes against the very principles this country was found on.

P.S. Lou Dobbs says we could be fighting China soon. Can’t wait to kill some commies for Christ!

everything above is all in good fun. please pull the wool over your eyes and go to sleep now.

    ciao
