Jesus helped this lovely lady find her Yellow Hat.

She prayed:

But one day, years after the hat was long gone, I prayed to God, "Jesus, only you can find that hat for me because I have no idea what happened to it or who stole it. But would you find it for me, please?" I left it at that.

And Jesus helped her find it.

I wonder if Jesus would help me find my MOJO? It’s not fair that Jonah Smith has all the MOJO!

Yeah, that hat helped America get through some tough times. Isn’t God great?

Well, her teeth certainly must be clean by now  . Imagine the frustration of people still in the waiting room

I’m not joking…that happened to me. I lost my passport and asked God to help me find it. The secretary at City Bible called and told me she just found it at the bottom of her desk months before and just kept forgetting to call me. Okay, tell me people…why did City Bible have my passport? I think more is going on here. This is a true story, I swear it! Maybe they are really part of government security or something to keep track of all the Christians…

    ENTITLEMENT GENERATION

Considering she must have paid $600 for the hat, I suppose it’s quite the testimony! And of course, this is probably one of the most important things close to her heart living in a materialistic society such as the prevailing American church–or the typical NW MFI church. (God forbid that her need would be a bit more selfless and helpful to someone other than herself–OH YA, YA GOTTA GO DEEPER.)

In our neck of the woods, at a certain MFI church, youth leadership purses cost at least that much, not to mention the new 3000 sq ft homes each sr pastor child now sports; or how about the hundreds, well heck, thousands when added up, are being spent on hair extentions (someone elses real hair being sown into yours). are they trying to be Paris Hilton or what? is her lifestyle so enviable? since when were we supposed to be like her?

meanwhile, on the other side of the tracks, poverty and hardship abounds even in our small city. what can i say, ‘God wants us to be rich’ right? especially if our lap of luxery is paid for by the tithes hounded out of the regular MFI churchgoer. BUT i must give credit to Calvary Chapel, down the street, who feeds the poor and has funded orphanages in 3rd world countries etc. and hail to Vineyard Christian Fellowship who is at least community minded enough that they are on a mission to clean up the earth; all down the street from capital christian center. http://www.letstendthegarden.org/

p.s. if you start a company and make it successful, at least your prada purse and expensive lifestyle is paid for by the profit from said company. but living high on tax exempt tithe money and you think that is ok?? and your latest buzzword has something to do with ‘this entitlement generation?’
