I’m not the only person who has no life.

After one year on this new blog format, our blog has reached almost 85,000 unique visitors.

And we're averaging almost 20,000 unique hits a month.

It's good to know you all are as bored at work as I am.

…good times… …good times…

Isn’t it funny how they all disappeared? Didn’t I mention to you that a certain church called their beginning of the year fasting and prayer weekend ‘Catalyst’ this year? And the topic of the week was ‘Influence’. It occurred to me that a mandate from ‘above’ was given to stay off the blog and stay in church to learn how to be their own Catalyst and influence. Makes sense, since we should all be as such in our own spheres. But the fact that the said church’s sr. pastor doesn’t possess an original bone in his body isn’t lost on me either. I wonder what his constituents, I mean, congregation would think if they knew he, or his image consultant, lifted the premise from this unholy blog? Of course, no one OWNS the word Catalyst, but it’s too much of a coincidence to ignore.

  2. You’re not going to start asking for a tithe are you?

I think maybe contacting a Christian bookseller (some distributor of Osteen books, for example), offering up the stats and asking if they’d like to advertise to the readership, then turning around and donating to Union Gospel Mission could be a nice way of sticking it to the man and twisting the irony.
