Another edition of Pat Robertson Predicts!

Posted on October 4th, 2008 by catalyst into the Politics category

Pat Robertson is hearing voices again. He claims they're from God, but Pat's voices are always wrong. So I'm confident it's just his strange fantasies.

Anyway, this years  predictions are:

1) Israel will attack Iran.

2) McCain will win Virginia in the 2008 Presidential Election.

My opinion:

1) Don't Care

and

2) Don't Care

I think we need to bring back the custom of stoning false prophets.

1 cor 14:3 says everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement, and comfort……how is what hes saying any 3 of these? did he decide to skip over that verse?…..or am i missing something?

Who is strengthened, encouraged, or comforted by these two statements?

    1) Nobody

    2) McCain supporters

I guess I just don’t see how these kinds of wild predictions are meant to build up the entire Church.

Saw Pat on the 700 club a couple days ago. He had a map of the middle east up, and was into his ‘end time’ routine. He pointed to the Straight of Hormuz where all the oil comes out of the Persian Gulf, and said that, “Iran controls the Straight of Hormuz.” REALLY? Iran has some speedboats manned by 2 or 3 revolutionary guards buzzing around, the US Navy, on the other hand has had 2 aircraft carrier battle groups in the Persian Gulf. Any bets on who would win a matchup over the Straights of Hormuz?

Pat just reels out whatever comes into his head, and the faithful just sit and nod in agreement. I like watching the 700 club, kinda like SNL without having to stay up late! :)
