An Atheist in England recently took out an advertisement on several buses.
The Ad says:
"There's probably no God: Now stop worrying and enjoy your life"
To which I say:
"There probably is a God: Now stop worrying and enjoy your life"
God is Love – 1 John 4:8

“Probably” – Using that word makes you an agnostic not an atheist. A true atheist doesn’t “not believe in God” but instead believes “no God exists”. That’s a big difference, and one a lot of so called atheists can’t even get straight.
Ultimately, I think anyone who says he or she is an atheist must be prepared to defend their position and the philosophical conclusion to such a belief or they are being intellectually dishonest, lazy, or ignorant. If one truly believes in no Higher Power then life itself is simply what you make of it and one’s only motivation is self-fulfillment. Taken to the extreme this is anarchy. One cannot be prepared to defend the idea of morals and social order without admitting it’s a part of a self-serving effort to please one’s self. The idea that people can be altruistic and “good” without appealing to the standard of a Higher Power is contradictory if you truly believe that your brief existence in this Universe is ultimately meaningless. How could not but conclude the only worthwhile things to do then are the things that make you happy and damn everyone else?
The other problem with this argument is that is supposes that the source of one’s worry and anxiety is a person’s belief in God. Most people cling to their faith most in times of hardship because their faith gives them HOPE!
This is pretty cool…
